Aaron Van Ryssel (Springfield, MB) lost 6-3 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the TELUS Manitoba Junior Mens Provincials, held February 22 - 27, 2022 in Brandon, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Van Ryssel won 8-7 over Jordon Johnson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 TELUS Manitoba Junior Mens Provincials in Brandon, Manitoba;
 
Van Ryssel finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Ryssel defeated Jack Lyburn (Brandon, MB) 9-1, then won 9-5 against Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) and 5-3 against Ronan Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Van Ryssel went on to lose 11-3 against Johnson. Van Ryssel responded with a 8-6 win over Matt Bijl (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
