7-1 to Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 11-0 to Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) where Buchy responded with a 9-8 win over Shiella Cowan (New Westminister, BC). Buchy went on to lose 8-2 against Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Buchy earned 1.313 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 9 of the event schedule, Buchy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
