Laycock finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laycock defeated Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) 9-3, then won 6-3 against Bernath and 4-2 against Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series Championship title, Laycock earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $2,300CDN first prize cheque.
