Kim Schwaller (Zug, SUI) qualified for the 2023 St. Galler Elite Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED).  
 
Schwaller finished 1-3 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller lost 9-4 to Sixten Totzek (Baden Baden, GER), then responded with a 6-4 win over Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE). Schwaller went on to lose 8-3 against Gosgens. Schwaller lost 7-7 to Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schwaller earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Galler Elite Challenge. For week 25 of the event schedule, Schwaller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Schwaller ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
