Blackham finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Blackham defeated Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Blackham lost 9-2 to Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
