Carly Howard (Mississauga, ON) lost 7-1 to Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 22 - 25, 2022 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Howard won 9-6 over Hailey Armstrong (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 10-1 over Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Howard finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Julia Bakos (London, ON) 9-3, then won 8-1 against Cathy Auld (Thornhill, ON) and 6-1 against Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC). Howard won 8-4 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Howard take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $1,950CDN prize, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 87.253 total points. Howard ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.250 points earned so far this season.
