Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) lost 7-3 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, held September 29 - October 2, 2022 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ramsfjell won 5-2 over Travis Colter (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2022 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-4 over Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Ramsfjell finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsfjell defeated Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) 8-6, then won 8-4 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI). Ramsfjell went on to lose 8-2 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Ramsfjell lost 7-4 to Edin where Ramsfjell responded with a 8-4 win over Rob Ainsley (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, Ramsfjell take home 30.250 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Ramsfjell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ramsfjell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
