Anna Munroe/Steven Leong (Edmonton, AB) finished 2-3 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Munroe/Leong defeated Jessica Wytrychowski/Michael Dumont (Calgary, AB) 9-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON). Munroe/Leong lost 8-2 to Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (Georgetown, ON). Munroe/Leong lost 7-2 to Madison Kleiter/Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) where Munroe/Leong responded with a 6-5 win over Cailey Locke/Simon Perry (NL, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Munroe/Leong earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 6 of the event schedule, Munroe/Leong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Munroe/Leong ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
