Bailey/Sipura Reaches 2023 Next Gen U25 Mixed Doubles Quarters

Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (Georgetown, ON) qualified for the 2023 Next Gen U25 Mixed Doubles playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON).

Bailey/Sipura finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bailey/Sipura defeated Cailey Locke/Simon Perry (NL, CAN) 7-5, then won 10-4 against Olivia Jones/Dustin Mikush (Saskatoon, SK) and 8-2 against Anna Munroe/Steven Leong (Edmonton, AB). Bailey/Sipura won 9-5 against Jessica Wytrychowski/Michael Dumont (Calgary, AB). Bailey/Sipura went on to lose 6-4 against Zheng/Pietrangelo in their final qualifying round match.

Bailey/Sipura earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Next Gen U25 Mixed Doubles, remaining in 806th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 40.688 total points.
