Aden Kavanaugh (Halifax, NS) finished 1-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kavanaugh lost 7-3 to Sam Mooibroek (Waterloo, ON), droppimg another game, 9-4 to Jake Horgan (Sudbury, ON). Kavanaugh lost 7-6 to Adam McEachren (Halifax, NS). Kavanaugh lost 10-5 to Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) where Kavanaugh responded with a 7-6 win over Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Kavanaugh went on to lose 10-7 against Owen Purdy (Kingston, ON). Kavanaugh lost 11-7 to Jamie Stewart (Federicton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Kavanaugh earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 33 of the event schedule, Kavanaugh did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kavanaugh ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
