Purdy finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Purdy defeated Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) 8-6, then went on to lose 12-11 against Adam McEachren (Halifax, NS). Purdy lost 8-4 to Horgan. Purdy lost 10-7 to Mooibroek where Purdy responded with a 9-4 win over Jamie Stewart (Federicton, NB). Purdy won 10-7 against Aden Kavanaugh (Halifax, NS), then won 10-3 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships, Purdy earn 4.250 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Purdy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Purdy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
