Advancing directly to the semifinals, Peterson won 8-4 over Christine McMakin (Minneapolis, MN) to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships in Blaine, Minnesota, United States; of the 2023 CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;
 
Peterson finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) 8-2, then won 8-3 against McMakin. Peterson went on to lose 9-6 against Anderson. Peterson responded with a 8-3 win over Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
