Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) lost 7-2 to Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the Aberdeen Classic, held December 8 - 10, 2023 at the Curl Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Stocker won 10-5 over Jan Iseli (Solothun, SUI) in the semifinals
 
Stocker finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stocker defeated Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) 6-2, then won 8-7 against Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO) and 6-5 against Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR). Stocker went on to lose 5-3 against Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Aberdeen Classic, Stocker take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, remaining in 30th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Stocker ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 98.250 points earned so far this season.
