Schwaller won 8-4 against Sixten Totzek (FÃ¼ssen, GER), then won 10-7 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) and 6-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Schwaller went on to lose 6-4 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Schwaller earn 40.500 world rankings points. Schwaller move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 22.5 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 339.125 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
