Soo-Hyuk Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR) won 7-3 over ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) in the Final of the Uiseong Korean Cup, held November 20 - 24, 2023 in Uiseong, Korea. Kim lost 8-6 to ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) in the semifinals to drop into the third place game. of the 2023 Uiseong Korean Cup in Uiseong, Korea; To advance to the championship game, Kim won 4-2 over JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR) in the semifinals

Kim finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Jinhan Yoo (Uiseong, KOR) 17-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Jeong. Kim responded with a 10-2 win over Korea's Jeongmin Kim. Kim went on to lose 4-2 against Lee in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Uiseong Korean Cup Championship title, Kim earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 129th place overall with 22.250 total points. Kim ranks 96th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.750 points earned so far this season.
