Lee lost 4-2 to Soo-Hyuk Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR) in the semifinals to drop into the third place game.

Lee finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lee defeated Korea's Jeongmin Kim 7-5, then won 14-3 against Jinhan Yoo (Uiseong, KOR) and 4-2 against Kim. Lee won 6-4 against ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Lee earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 171st place overall with 12.563 total points. Lee ranks 152nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.063 points earned so far this season.
