Jung lost 9-4 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR) in the semifinals to drop into the third place game. of the 2023 Uiseong Korean Cup in Uiseong, Korea;
 
Jung finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jung defeated Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) 7-5, then won 5-4 against Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR). Jung went on to lose 9-7 against Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). Jung lost 10-2 to Kim where Jung responded with a 7-3 win over Minseo Kim (Jeonbuk, KOR). Jung went on to lose 0-0 against Kim in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their third place finish at the Uiseong Korean Cup, Jung earn 6.375 world rankings points. Jung move up 22 spots after posting a net gain of 5.625 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 125th overall with 14.813 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
