Yujie Zhang (Beijing, CHN) lost 3-2 to Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held October 3 - 6, 2024 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Zhang won 7-2 over Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; of the 2024 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Zhang finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zhang defeated Kang 5-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN). Zhang responded with a 8-3 win over Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC). Zhang won 8-3 against Ava Arndt (Vernon, BC), then won 8-7 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Zhang take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Zhang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zhang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
