Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB) lost 6-5 to Sarah Mallais (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held November 22 - 24, 2024 at the Capital Winter Curling Club in Fredericton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Forsythe won 6-5 over Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2024 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 7-6 over Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Forsythe finished 1-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forsythe lost 7-2 to Mallais, then responded with a 9-6 win over New Brunswick's Judy Ross. Forsythe went on to lose 7-4 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, Forsythe take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 17 of the event schedule, Forsythe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Forsythe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
