To advance to the championship game, Shuster won 6-2 over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in the semifinals of the 2025 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States; and won 6-4 over Chase Sinnett (Minneapolis, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States;
 
Shuster finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Bob Leclair (Tempe, AZ) 7-1, then won 9-6 against Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) and 6-0 against Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK). Shuster won 9-2 against Dunnam, then won 8-4 against Jayden King (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
