Menard responded with a 9-5 win over Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Menard won 9-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB), then won 7-2 against Ken Peddigrew (St. Johns, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Tim Hortons Brier Championship title, Menard earned 0.000 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Menard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
