Stephanie McVicar (Saskatoon, SK) finished 1-4 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McVicar defeated Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) 6-3, then went on to lose 11-3 against Debbie McCormick (Rio, WI). McVicar lost 7-4 to Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). McVicar lost 6-5 to Heather Rankin (Calgary, AB). McVicar lost 9-2 to Saskatchewan's Tracy Streifel in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, McVicar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McVicar ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
