DeJong responded with a 8-5 win over Bobbie Sauder (Edmonton, AB). DeJong won 10-4 against Nicole Blenkin (Calgary, AB), then won 8-2 against Japan's Moe Meguro. DeJong went on to lose 8-1 against Alberta's June Campbell. DeJong responded with a 6-4 win over Kirsten Fox (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

DeJong earned 6.600 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic. For week of the event schedule, DeJong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
