Xiaoming Xu (Harbin, CHN) qualified for the 2010 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-4 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). of the 2010 Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Xu finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Xu defeated Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK) and 6-2 against Jerod Roland (Minot, ND). Xu won 5-3 against Jeff Tait (Regina, SK), then won 8-7 against Saskatchewan's Clint Krismer in their final qualifying round match.

Xu earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic. For week 4 of the event schedule, Xu did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Xu ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
