Brent Bawel (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2010 Cactus Pheasant Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB). of the 2010 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta;

Bawel finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bawel defeated Kevin Park (Winnipeg, MB) 5-4, then won 8-4 against Dean Ross (Calgary, AB). Bawel went on to lose 5-4 against Koe. Bawel responded with a 7-5 win over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Bawel earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic. For week 8 of the event schedule, Bawel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bawel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
