Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) qualified for the 2011 Sun Life Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI).

Muirhead finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Leslie Bishop (Sarnia, ON) 7-0, then won 7-2 against Jackie Lockhart (Edinburgh, SCO) and 8-1 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL). Muirhead won 5-4 against Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Muirhead earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sun Life Classic, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 15th place overall with 101.358 total points. Muirhead ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.550 points earned so far this season.
