Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON) lost 8-3 to Willie MacPherson (Alliston, ON) in the Final of the Co-operators Cup, held November 25 - 27, 2011 in Markdale, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Hutchinson won 5-3 over Dave Furness (Brampton, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 Co-operators Cup in Markdale, Ontario; and won 5-4 over Mike Aprile (Waterloo, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Co-operators Cup in Markdale, Ontario;
Hutchinson finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hutchinson defeated Marika Bakewell (London, ON) 6-2, then won 6-3 against Jeff Brown (North Bay, ON) and 7-6 against Bob Mason (Markdale, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Co-operators Cup, Hutchinson take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,900CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Hutchinson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hutchinson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
