To advance to the championship game, Dolan won 10-9 over Sarah Fullerton (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2012 PEI Scotties in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;
Dolan finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dolan lost 8-6 to Fullerton, then responded with a 6-5 win over Hughes. Dolan won 6-5 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 7-3 against Tammy Dewar (Montague, PEI). Dolan went on to lose 6-5 against Donna Butler (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
