In their opening game, Campbell defeated Peter MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI) 7-6, then won 5-3 against Brett Gallant (Charlottetown, PEI). Campbell went on to lose 7-4 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI). Campbell lost 6-5 to Mike Gaudet (Charlottetown, PEI) where Campbell responded with a 7-3 win over MacDonald. Campbell won 10-7 against John Likely (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
