Heidt finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt lost 4-3 to Garret Vey (Regina, SK), then responded with a 4-2 win over Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK). Heidt won 6-4 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK), then won 4-3 against Clint Krismer (Regina, SK) and 8-1 against Vey in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 1.950 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Horizon Laser Vision Center Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 12.482 total points. Heidt ranks 68th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.950 points earned so far this season.
