Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) won 8-1 over Finland's Markku Uusipaavalniemi in the Final of the Radisson Blu Oslo Cup, held September 20 - 23, 2012 in Oslo, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Edin won 7-3 over Thomas Ulsrud (oslo, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2012 Radisson Blu Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway; and won 8-3 over Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Radisson Blu Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway;

Edin finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) 10-3, then won 7-2 against Thomas Lovold (Oslo, NOR) and 6-2 against Jean-Francois Royer (Montreal, PQ). Edin won 7-4 against Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Radisson Blu Oslo Cup Championship title, Edin earned 17.100 world rankings points along with the $10,265CDN first prize cheque, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 217.625 total points.
