MacKenzie lost 8-3 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). MacKenzie lost 8-5 to Jean-Michel Menard (St. Romuald, PQ). MacKenzie lost 9-2 to Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). MacKenzie lost 8-6 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) where MacKenzie responded with a 10-7 win over Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster, BC). MacKenzie went on to lose 7-2 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). MacKenzie lost 6-1 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) where MacKenzie responded with a 5-4 win over Paul Flemming (Lower Sackville, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

MacKenzie earned 4.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, MacKenzie did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacKenzie ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
