Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) won 6-5 over Brock Virtue (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic, held October 11 - 14, 2013 at the Crestwood Curling Club in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 5-4 over Tom Appelman (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-2 over Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Martin finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Matt Willerton (Edmonton, AB) 9-1, then won 7-3 against Dean Ross (Edmonton, AB) and 8-2 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic Championship title, Martin earned 17.250 world rankings points along with the $13,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 195.213 total points. Martin ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.600 points earned so far this season.
