Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) qualified for the 2013 Weatherford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB). of the 2013 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Heidt finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt defeated Brad Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) 2-1, then won 7-6 against Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Heidt went on to lose 5-4 against Joel Jordison (Regina, SK). Heidt responded with a 5-2 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 3.060 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Weatherford Curling Classic, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 30.100 total points. Heidt ranks 60th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.875 points earned so far this season.
