Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) lost 7-5 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Masters of Curling, held October 30 - November 3, 2013 in Abbotsford, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Muirhead won 7-3 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Masters of Curling in Abbotsford, British Columbia; and won 5-4 over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Harnosand, SWE) in the quarterfinals.

Muirhead finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead lost 7-6 to Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI), then responded with a 8-7 win over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Muirhead went on to lose 8-3 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Muirhead responded with a 6-5 win over Evita Regza (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Masters of Curling, Muirhead take home 27.000 world rankings points along with the $14,000CDN prize, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 275.545 total points. Muirhead ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.450 points earned so far this season.
