Eric Fenson (Bemidji, MN) qualified for the 2013 FSCC Early Cash playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Korey Dropkin (Southborough, MA). of the 2013 FSCC Early Cash in Blaine, Minnesota;

Fenson finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenson defeated Peter Stolt (Plymouth, MN) 6-3, then won 3-2 against John Lilla (St Paul, MN) and 5-3 against Stephen Dropkin (St. Paul, MN). Fenson went on to lose 7-3 against Craig Brown (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.

Fenson earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the FSCC Early Cash, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 189th place overall with 2.231 total points. Fenson ranks 61st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
