John Morris (Vernon, BC) lost 10-5 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Tim Hortons Brier, held March 1 - 9, 2014 in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Morris finished 9-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morris defeated Koe 7-6, then won 8-2 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT). Morris went on to lose 7-4 against Jean-Michel Menard (St-Romauld, PQ). Morris responded with a 8-6 win over Jamie Murphy (Lower Sackville, NS). Morris won 10-4 against Eddie MacKenzie (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 7-2 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT) and 9-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Morris won 5-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then won 8-3 against Greg Balsdon (Hamilton, ON). Morris went on to lose 7-6 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Morris responded with a 6-3 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Morris take home 35.000 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 264.893 total points. Morris ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 148.780 points earned so far this season.
