Al Gulseth (Fargo, ND) finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gulseth lost 6-2 to Darrick Kizlyk (Colorado Springs, CO), then responded with a 8-6 win over Michael Stefanik (Ballston Spa, NY). Gulseth won 10-4 against Greg Wilson (Vernon Hills, IL), then won 8-5 against Randy Baird (Bemidji, MN). Gulseth went on to lose 6-4 against Brady Clark (Lynnwood, WA). Gulseth responded with a 8-0 win over Stu Cohen (Columbus, OH). Gulseth won 7-2 against Kevin Rutherford (Beaverton, OR), then won 11-8 against Sean Murray (Hartland, WI) and 9-5 against Adam Endicott (San Diego, CA) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Gulseth did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gulseth ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
