Ostlund went on to lose 6-5 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). Ostlund responded with a 7-2 win over Kayla Skrlik (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Ostlund earned 9.380 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 51.565 total points. Ostlund ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.020 points earned so far this season.
