Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) 7-6, then won 9-0 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 11-5 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT). Wang went on to lose 8-5 against Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Wang responded with a 9-2 win over Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Wang won 7-3 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Olympic Qualification Event Championship title, Wang earned 30.356 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Wang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
