Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA).

Carruthers finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carruthers defeated Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) 5-3, then won 5-3 against Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Carruthers won 6-5 against David Murdoch (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Carruthers earned 32.318 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 359.068 total points. Carruthers ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 74.608 points earned so far this season.
