To advance to the championship game, Sweeting won 7-3 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2015 HDF Insurance Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta; and won 4-2 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 HDF Insurance Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Sweeting finished 5-0 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sweeting defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 6-4, then won 7-4 against Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) and 10-1 against Kellie Henricks (Ellerslie, AB). Sweeting won 6-3 against Kleibrink, then won 6-2 against Kalynn Park (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the HDF Insurance Shoot-Out Championship title, Sweeting earned 38.746 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 449.350 total points. Sweeting ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.410 points earned so far this season.
