Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) won 5-1 over Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Appleton Rum Cashspiel, held September 25 - 28, 2015 in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Breen won 6-5 over Jill Brothers (halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 Appleton Rum Cashspiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; and won 6-2 over Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals.
 
Breen finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Breen lost 5-4 to Brothers, droppimg another game, 5-4 to Tatlock where Breen responded with a 6-5 win over Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS). Breen won 7-3 against Coralie Duchemin (Sydney, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Appleton Rum Cashspiel Championship title, Breen earned 18.579 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 29.519 total points. Breen ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.579 points earned so far this season.
