Shawn Adams (Halifax, NS) lost 5-4 to Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Sobeys Classic, held October 1 - 4, 2015 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Adams won 6-5 over Chad Stevens (Halifax , NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 Sobeys Classic in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia; and won 9-1 over Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Sobeys Classic in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia;

Adams finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams defeated Fitzner-Leblanc 6-1, then won 9-5 against Robert Mayhew (Halifax, NS) and 7-1 against Jamie Danbrook (Halifax, NS). Adams went on to lose 8-7 against Doug MacKenzie (Windsor, NS). Adams responded with a 8-5 win over Stevens in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sobeys Classic, Adams take home 17.051 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 93.705 total points. Adams ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.145 points earned so far this season.
