Hegner won 8-6 against Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI). Hegner went on to lose 9-7 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling League, Hegner take home 7.313 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 51.393 total points. Hegner ranks 67th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.815 points earned so far this season.
