After advancing directly to the championship game, Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) lost 8-5 to Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Nova Scotia Scotties, held January 19 - 24, 2016 at the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax, Canada.

Arsenault finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS) 9-5, then won 5-4 against Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS) and 11-10 against Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Arsenault won 7-5 against Brothers, then won 7-5 against Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS) and 9-3 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). Arsenault went on to lose 10-5 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Nova Scotia Scotties, Arsenault take home 9.075 world rankings points, remaining in 40th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 124.801 total points. Arsenault ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 83.801 points earned so far this season.
