Hudy went on to lose 6-5 against Paul Delorey (Hay River, NT). Hudy lost 9-3 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) where Hudy responded with a 7-5 win over Bruce McArthur (Fort Smith, NT). Hudy went on to lose 9-2 against Greg Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

Hudy earned 0.263 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 90 spots the World Ranking Standings into 559th place overall with 0.263 total points. Hudy ranks 521st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.263 points earned so far this season.
