Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) won 5-4 over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) in the Final of the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, held November 8 - 13, 2016 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Harrison won 6-5 over Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in the semifinals of the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Cranbrook, British Columbia; and won 6-3 over Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Cranbrook, British Columbia;
 
Harrison finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harrison defeated Corryn Brown (Kamloops - New Westminster - Nanaimo, BC) 7-4, then went on to lose 5-3 against Roth. Harrison responded with a 8-4 win over Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC). Harrison went on to lose 4-3 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 Championship title, Harrison earned 47.889 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 21st place overall with 242.342 total points. Harrison ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 96.963 points earned so far this season.
