Jentsch finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jentsch defeated Ieva Berzina (Riga, LAT) 5-2, then won 7-6 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 9-7 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Riga International Challenge Championship title, Jentsch earned 13.772 world rankings points along with the $2,062CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 52nd place overall with 88.619 total points. Jentsch ranks 69th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.258 points earned so far this season.
