In their opening game, Kean defeated Michelle Fletcher (Burlington, ON) 11-8, then went on to lose 6-5 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Kean responded with a 7-1 win over Hollie Nicol (Toronto, ON). Kean won 7-6 against Jennifer Spencer (Guelph, ON). Kean went on to lose 9-1 against Tippin in their final qualifying round match.

Kean earned 1.754 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Kean did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kean ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
